OUR GOAL
Our goal is to make Kiambu County and its human settlements safe, resilient, and sustainable for development through the provision of decent, adequate housing, affordable transportation, sustainable urban areas, and basic infrastructure and facilities.

SECTORIAL COMPOSITION
The department comprises five directorates
Land survey and geoinformatics focus on the development of GIS/LIS databases for spatial data management.
Housing and community development facilitates the promotion and facilitation of the development of decent housing in sustainable environments
Physical planning ensures the formulation, implementation, and review of various policies in the department
Land valuation and rating focus on the provision of efficient land, property valuation, and management for effective county asset documentation and rating
Urban development and administration ensure the administration and management of urban cities and municipalities within the county.
